Coming from the North, I-25 closed
Just heard I-25 is closed both directions outside castle rock (may be accidents or snow). AN ALTERNATE route to Woodland park is through deer creek (off of south wadsworth) over to highway 67 and down. That might be an options for other people coming from north.

All…This area is suppose to have over a foot, if not 2 foot by tomorrow, of new heavy wet snow. I have ridden dirt bikes in this area before and I seriously wonder if 4WD will even make it up the most gradual graded dirt road. By all means we should try, but does anyone have snowmobiles that could be put to use if needed?
