McCook Daily Gazette: Native Nebraska Missing in Colorado

WESTMINSTER, Colorado — Friends and relatives of a Minden, Nebraska, native are appealing to the public for help in finding the missing man.

Jeremy Griess, 39, Westminster, Colorado, has been missing since April 11. Family members believe he may have gone into the mountains near Woodland Park, Colorado.

Jeannie Corona of Apple Valley, California, wrote to the Gazette asking our help.

“Jeremy has many people looking for him and praying for his safe return. From the moment we were alerted of his disappearance last Thursday, we rallied around his family to offer prayers and encouragement. The number of supporters continues to grow as membership in the Facebook group, Help Find Jeremy Griess – Missing Since 04/11 has now reached 400. This group was started yesterday,” she said.

“Jeremy’s family believes he may have gone into the mountains close the the town of Woodland Park, Colorado. People have been searching the area tirelessly for any sign of him or his vehicle but to no avail. He has a Web site with current information:\”
